MicroGeoThermal

MicroGeoThermal is seeking a wide array of motivated and talented individuals experienced in geothermal and oil & gas drilling, all the way down to entry level interns, engineering and energy studies students. All will be required to explore, network and study individually as well in teams, to come up with new ways to engineer next generation geothermal systems and to re-purpose existing oil & gas wells into geothermal power, as well as geothermal heating/cooling systems.

When MicroGeoThermal founder, moved to East Texas in October 2022, he listened to many first hand stories of the "Texas Freeze" when the power in the region went out for several days and the water systems subsequently stopped functioning and pipes froze and were destroyed. It was impossible to heat homes or keep food temperatures regulated. It was hell for Texas, but the communities came together and worked hard to take care of everybody, like small towns usually do, but 246 people still died.

After hearing dozens of different stories, he was one step ahead in his mind on future solutions to power redundancy, to bypass power grid politics that may have been responsible for the power outages during "The Freeze". Geothermal power, as well as geothermal heating and cooling might very well be the answer to those concerned about future power grid issues, as well as redundancy for heating & cooling.

After previously been nosing around the energy industry and related political circles in states including Wyoming and South Dakota to build MicroGeoThermal systems to power data centers for TMT (technology, media & telecom) ventures he is involved in. However, Texas become the most inviting, not because it is the leader in geothermal power, yet, but there is a political will and because of the potential to convert or repurpose existing dormant oil wells into geothermal power operations. The talent to drill new geothermal systems is readily available, whereas those who drill for oil & gas in Texas are well suited to take on the task of drilling for geothermal power operations.
